Absolutely bring your Dub Rocket!! Dale of Big Giant Head and Rogman of Peahen will be at Center Camp at 8pm to "head" up the procession to the Rock Opera Pyramid. Check in with them. They will leave Center Camp by 8:30pm. Rock Opera starts promptly at 9pm with live, amplified music, fire breathers, fire dancers, stilt walkers, belly dancers and more, ending with pyrotechnics from Cirque de Flambe' and the Pyramid will be ignited with a flame thrower. Now, how cool is that? The Pyramid will be ablaze by 10pm. The Rock Opera location is 1700' from The Man at the 2:30 position on the playa. If you have a radio on your Car, we will be simul casting on channel 90.9 FM with the Nomads.
A secret side note: After the Pyramid falls, head out to the 1:00 position on the playa. I heard from reliable sources the oil derrick will be going off about 10:30pm & it's one of those "must sees".
