Re: ***Looking for an Art Car for Burningman 2008***
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 8:15 AMI think you should leave the minimal art car registrations (fixed number) to the dedicated people who build them themselves.
I realize you must extra money, so why dont you give an art car group some money to help build there car, then you can ride on it.
:)

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 4:54 PMHi E,
I love "Kamila", my electric-powered mutant vehicle, but getting her to the playa and back is a challenge for me since I don't own a truck or trailer. So, I've been thinking of selling her, preferably to someone in Nevada. Take a look at the photos in my profile. If you're interested in seeing if we can work something out, let me know.
Thanks! -

Wed, May 14, 2008 - 7:48 AMI think he wants you to take it up there, register it and take responsibility for him while he has his drunk ass on playa with no clue on how things work. Not exactlly the kinda person I want driving out there.
E, no offense but if your new to Burning Man, spend a year on an art car of someone elses first. See what it entails to be out there driving with the thousands of people acting like moving cones. Its stressful and not always as fun as you think. -

Wed, May 14, 2008 - 11:32 AMYeah, you've got to keep your eyes on what's in front of you at all times, even though there's a ton of distractions in all directions. I just try to not turn my head much, but instead turn my vehicle towards whatever I want to see. I'd actually be pretty reluctant to let someone I didn't know well drive my mutant vehicle. I'm more interested in selling.

Thu, May 15, 2008 - 9:07 PMWord Gothy! It's a huge amount of work, funds, and responsibility.
See ya up in the dust as the Pimp Rocket makes her triumphant return to the Playa.
Yay!
