Tue, September 11, 2007 - 11:11 PMI lived on 9 and Dessert this year and it seemed like it was ALWAYS right there on the corner.
When you say you stumbled across it in the darkness are you saying it was out on the playa? COOL!
As the builder/driver of a small art car in comparison to Acavallo that must have been a monumental task to get to the point where you were actually driving! Man, it seemed like it would take an hour from the point I said I was gonna go out to the point I was actually driving. I finally stopped telling people until it was almost ready so they wouldn't be sitting there for so long!
Here's to Acavallo's return! Woo Hoo!

They did go cruising sometimes.
I thought the very rare Diamond T tow rig was a great touch.
Execution was excellent, and the girl playing electric violin was off the hook!
